HRTrek is an Attendance and Salary Management Software developed by Soft Udyog. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect user information when using the HRTrek mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

a) Personal Information

We may collect the following information as required for app functionality:

  • Employee name or employee ID

  • Login credentials provided by the organization

  • Contact details (if configured by the organization)


b) Location Information

HRTrek collects precise location data (latitude and longitude) only at the time of attendance check-in or check-out.

Purpose:

  • To verify that the employee was present at the designated workplace at the time of attendance

  • For internal attendance validation by authorized HR/Admin users

📌 Location data is:

  • Collected only during attendance actions

  • Not tracked continuously

  • Not used for background monitoring


c) Photo / Image Data

At the time of attendance check-in, employees may be required to capture and upload a photo (selfie).

Purpose:

  • To verify employee identity

  • To prevent proxy or false attendance

  • Accessible only to authorized HR/Admin users


d) Device Information

We may collect limited device information such as:

  • Device ID

  • App version

  • Operating system details

This information is used only for:

  • Authentication

  • Security

  • App functionality


2. How We Use the Information

The collected data is used strictly for:

  • Attendance tracking and verification

  • Salary and payroll processing

  • Employee record management

  • Internal business and administrative purposes

  • All data is securely stored on authorized servers

  • Data is encrypted during transmission

  • Access is restricted to authorized HR/Admin personnel

We do NOT share user data with:

  • Advertisers

  • Third-party organizations

Data is used only within the organization using the HRTrek system.


5. User Control & Data Deletion

  • Employees may contact their organization’s HR/Admin for data-related requests

  • Organizations may request data correction or deletion by contacting Soft Udyog support

  • Data is retained only as long as required for business and legal purposes


6. Permissions Used by the App

HRTrek may request the following permissions:

  • Location access – for attendance verification

  • Camera access – for attendance photo capture

  • Internet access – to sync attendance data securely

All permissions are used only for core app functionality.


7. Children’s Privacy

HRTrek is a business application and is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
